POSITION INFO:

What You’ll Be Doing

Participate in the full software development lifecycle — from concept and design to implementation, testing, and production deployment.
Contribute to strategic product improvements with a strong business mindset.
Work with highly sensitive financial data in a secure and performance-driven environment.
Continuously improve development practices and code quality.
Perform quality assurance and testing before production releases.
Collaborate closely with developers, accountants, analysts, and leadership.
Share knowledge and mentor team members in best practices and frameworks.
Explore and implement modern technologies to optimise performance and scalability.

Minimum Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field (or strong proven development experience).
Experience developing within a web framework.
Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.
Self-motivated, accountable, and deadline-driven.

Advantageous Skills

Python and/or Django
Numerical libraries such as NumPy or Pandas
Front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
Git version control
Cybersecurity knowledge
Financial sector experience
Exposure to LaTeX
