JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining in-house and client facing systems:
Writing effective, scalable code
Developing back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
Integrating user-facing elements into applications
Test and debug programs
Improve functionality of existing systems
Implement security and data protection solutions
Assess and prioritize feature requests
Design and implement of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
Integration of data storage solutions
Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation
Work collaboratively with design team to understand end user requirements to provide technical solutions and for the implementation of new software features
Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

About you

Relevant IT Degree (BTech ( IT), BSC or BComm) or Diploma
2+ years Programming Experience
Proficient in Python Development
SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL
Expertise in Python frameworks like Django, Jinja and Flask
Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5)
Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
Strong unit test and debugging skills
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
