QA Developer

SUMMARY:
Our esteemed client in Centurion is seeking a skilled Intermediate Quality Assurance (QA) Developer for a permanent position. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the quality and performance of their platform through both manual and automated testing. You will work closely with development and product teams to identify, document, and resolve defects while ensuring comprehensive test coverage. The ideal candidate will have experience in QA methodologies, tools, and processes, along with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office work on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Education (Essential):

• National Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Plan and execute both automated and manual tests.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Conduct web/API/requirements testing.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Collaborate with teams to mitigate quality risks early.
• Track and report defects using Jira and Confluence.
  
• Familiarity with Postman, Cucumber BDD, and Jira/Confluence.
