QA Engineer (Manual)

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join their team in Stellenbosch (3 days in-office per week). You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of their software products through rigorous manual testing methodologies.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute manual test cases based on requirements
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing
• Document and track defects using bug-tracking systems
• Collaborate with Developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Contribute to test planning and strategy discussions
• Maintain test documentation and reports

• 3-5 years of manual software testing experience
• Computer Science Diploma or equivalent qualification
• ISTQB Certification (Foundation Level or higher)
• Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies
• Experience with test case management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
• Understanding of API testing concepts (Postman, etc.)
