QA and NPD Manager

Well known industrial bakery that manufactures par baked and frozen products has a vacancy for a QA Manager who will ensure that the food safety system is aligned with regulations and is maintained and audit ready at all times. POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities: Implementation and maintenance of a Food Safety Management System. Full understanding and experience of FSSC 22000 v5.1. Quality Assurance. Control on documents and records. Validate, verify and improve the food safety management system. Managing factory cleaners and associated staff. Experience and the understanding of new product development. Work closely with production management regarding implementation of food safety standards, and maintain the record keeping for audits. Understand legislation related to QA standards in South Africa. Requirements: 3 to 5 years experience in the bakery or food industry SANS 10330 - HACCP SANS 11049 - GMP's FSSC 22000 v 5.1 Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
