SUMMARY:
A food production vacancy is available within the FMCG sector for a Quality Control Specialist based in Cape Town.
POSITION INFO:
In this role, you will oversee finished goods quality control by supervising laboratory testing and employees, releasing manufactured spice and chemical blends, and resolving quality issues. To be considered, candidates should hold the relevant tertiary qualification (minimum 3-year diploma or higher in Food Technology\/Science or similar). This role also requires 4 years' laboratory testing experience and 1-year minimum experience in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of HACCP, FSSC 22000, and exposure to a food safety environment is essential. Candidates should be willing to consume products containing pork and other types of animal meat.
