QC Supervisor (mining equipment)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Supervisor to oversee inspection and quality assurance processes for mining equipment. The successful candidate will ensure that all products meet industry standards, company specifications, and customer requirements.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate QC inspectors and technicians
• Conduct inspections on mining equipment, components, and assemblies
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and safety regulations
• Review and approve inspection reports and documentation
• Identify defects, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve quality processes
• Maintain calibration and testing equipment
• Prepare quality reports and present findings to management

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in quality control within the mining or heavy equipment industry
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of QC systems, inspection methods, and ISO standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality reporting tools
