Our client in the logistics industry is looking for a QHSE Manager to join their team in Boksburg, Gauteng.

Scope:

General Job Description concerning development and monitoring actions for the Q-HSE Management System developed by one entity of Logistics in Africa.
The issues contained in this job description do not constitute an exhaustive inventory of the Q-HSE procedures implemented in the entities of Logistics in Africa.

Definitions & abbreviations:

Q-HSE
Quality, Health, Safety and Environment
JSA (Job Safety Analysis)

Main Objectives:

Reporting to the Entity Managing Director and the Q-HSE Africa Department
Provide Q-HSE technical support to the other departments
Ensure Q-HSE relevancy between all branches and departments of the entity and that only one Q-HSE Management System is implemented through the entity
Continuously improve the Q-HSE processes and practices

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

A detailed description of the Tasks and Responsibilities will be shared with potential candidates.

Minimum Requirements: State educational and experience and competencies required

Bachelor''s Degree in the QHSE field
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Designing, implementing, and maintaining Environmental and Occupational & Health Management Systems.
Certified with the accredited agencies like ISO, EMS, NEBOSH etc.
Must have expert knowledge of applying quality and safety local and international legislation.
Ability to conduct independent inspections and audits to meet all safety regulations
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with all levels within the organization
Able to work in culturally diverse environment
Excellent problem solving and listening skills
Ability to operate Microsoft Windows applications e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
