SUMMARY:
An experienced Commercial Manager is sought to lead the commercial aspects of construction projects across Zambia and the region. This leadership role involves overseeing quantity surveying (QS) functions, ensuring contractual compliance, driving financial efficiency, and contributing to strategic growth.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end commercial management of projects.
Oversee and manage the QS team and related resources.
Handle bidding, tendering, and preparation of bills of quantities.
Manage subcontractor selection to ensure value and quality.
Maintain and update CCS (Candy) master programs.
Administer contracts under FIDIC and JBCC.
Prepare and manage claims and entitlements.
Produce cost reports, forecasts, and budget control documents.
Collaborate with finance on budgeting and cost allocations.
Drive value engineering and resource optimization.
Act as a senior point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Quantity Surveying (Hons) or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of commercial/QS experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven success on large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of FIDIC and JBCC.
Skilled in CCS (Candy) and MS Office (Excel, Project, and Word).
Knowledge of Primavera P6 is a plus.
