Qualified Accountant

SUMMARY:
A well established firm within the Financial Services Sector is looking for a Qualified SAIPA / SAICA Accountant for their branch in Bloemfontein.  The Accountant will be responsible for monthly processing of client information, drafting of financial statements, tax calculations and other administrative functions.

POSITION INFO:

• B Com Accounting with completed SAIPA / SAICA Articles
• Valid drivers license with own transport
• Experience with Sage Pastel, Xero, Caseware
• Clause to confidentiality is essential
• Ability to recognize any abnormality to structures used
• Monthly processing of bank statements and other applicable information
• Monthly salaries & all relevant tax return, relating to salaries
• Reconciliation of creditors and debtors
• Monthly cash flow statements
• VAT return submissions
• Drafting Financial Statements
• Submitting income tax returns
• Assisting Auditors during audits
• Verify all payments from bank statements to third parties and against monies received
• Ad hoc services as and when required
