Qualified Diesel Mechanic

SUMMARY:
A leading dealership is seeking a Qualified Diesel Technician with OEM training and experience to join their dynamic team in Tzaneen, Limpopo Province. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of diesel vehicles, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out fault diagnosis, repairs, and services on diesel vehicles according to OEM standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance, engine overhauls, and system calibrations.
• Ensure adherence to manufacturer guidelines and warranty procedures.
• Accurately complete job cards and technical reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Keep up to date with the latest technical bulletins and OEM training.
• Work collaboratively with the workshop team to achieve productivity and efficiency targets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Diesel Technician (Red Seal / Trade Test Certificate – Non-Negotiable).
• Minimum 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience in a dealership environment.
• OEM training and experience essential (please specify on CV).
• Strong diagnostic and technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license and clear criminal record.
