JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Position: Qualified Diesel Mechanic

Location: Based in Vanderbijlpark and travelling to different sites (PE, NC, and PTA)

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualification

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Matric (NQ4) or N2/N3 (NQ5)

• Red Seal / Trade Certificate an advantage

• 2 to 3 years of experience

• Experience in heavy duty vehicles

• Excellent mathematics and science ability

• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices

• Solid understanding

Key Performance Areas:

• Ability to do mechanical repairs and maintenance on trucks and other related work in the workshop

• Ability to do repairs on mechanical components

• Attend to workshop training programmes

• Test vehicle mechanical system

• Report to Workshop Manager for any job done for check-ups before letting the vehicle go out of workshop
