JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manage a fleet of around 24 vehicles, both petrol and diesel
Must be reliable and trustworthy
Basic services on vehicles (sparkplugs, oil change etc.)
Breaks – replace break-pads (skimming will be outsourced but it will be his responsibility to make the booking and take the vehicle there and bring it back)
Engines – pulleys on the belts to be adjusted general knowledge of engines
Maintain vehicle - maintain vehicle and trailer checklists
Make sure vehicles are in running order
Book for tyres and keep record of when tyres are changed, wheel alignment and balancing done
All vehicles to be booked for wheel rotation, alignment and balancing after every service.
Batteries – check terminals and replace batteries that need replacing and keep record
Work hours 07:00 – 16:30

Requirements:

Matric and trade test
