SUMMARY:
Our client in the telecom sector is seeking a Quality & Compliance Specialist on a contract duration of 6 to 12 months.

We are seeking a detail-orientedâ¯Quality & Compliance Specialistâ¯to oversee data quality assurance and regulatory compliance throughout a complex BSS Data Migration program. This role is critical to ensuring that migrated data meets integrity, accuracy, and auditability standards across customer, product, and billing domains.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with both the technical and operational aspects of BSS platforms, as well as telecom compliance mandates and QA processes across the delivery lifecycle.

POSITION INFO:
Required Skills & Experience:

7+ years in data quality, compliance, or audit roles, with at least 3 years in telecom BSS environments
Strong understanding of data migration lifecycle, including extraction, transformation, validation, and cutover
Experience with data profiling tools (e.g., Informatica Data Quality, Talend, Ataccama) and reconciliation frameworks
Familiarity with telecom data domains and TM Forum standards (SID, eTOM)
Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, POPIA, ISO 27001) and contractual compliance
Excellent documentation, stakeholder engagement, and issue resolution skillsStrong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Data Governance, Quality Management, or Compliance (e.g., CDMP, ISO Lead Auditor)
Experience in consortium-led delivery or multi-vendor transformation programs
Exposure to Agile delivery models and quality assurance in iterative environments

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
