A Quality Assurance Administrator (1 Month Contract) vacancy is available at our Client, Wits Health Consortium in Braamfontein, Johannesburg - Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:

Background

Wits Health Consortium (Pty) Limited ("WHC") is a wholly-owned Company of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg (South Africa) under its Faculty of Health Sciences. WHC provides Faculty with a legal framework within which to operate the research and other activities necessary to support its academic objectives. In addition, WHC offers a range of products and services to the Academics conducting these activities in order to assist with the management thereof

Main purpose of the job

• Quality checks of the data captured in current databases from various source documents for accuracy

Location

•  NHLS, Braamfontein

Key performance areas

• Report all anomalies in an organized and systematic manner in a written format to the project manager
• Must be able to provide reasons based on material provided on all identified errors in a systematic manner
• Assist with correcting the databases and/or the hard copy files if necessary
• Quality control of hard copy participant files
• Quality control of data captured into Excel and RedCap

Required minimum education and training

• Grade 12

Desirable additional education, work experience, and personal abilities

• Grade 12 with Mathematics

Required minimum work experience

• Must be computer literate with good verbal and written communication skills
