Quality Assurance Administrator (Centurion)

SUMMARY:
As a Quality Assurance Administrator, you will be a vital part of our team dedicated to ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance in our Master Data. You will play a crucial role in maintaining product quality, identifying defects, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations. Your expertise in quality assurance practices and your ability to adapt to changing priorities will be essential in achieving our operational goals. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in quality assurance or a similar role (2-3 years’ experience preferred).
• Grade 12 (Mathematics).
• Proficiency in quality management systems and tools.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address quality-related issues.
• High attention to detail to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Experience supporting warehouse quality processes, specifically in footprint reduction, optimisation, and workflow efficiency.
• Hands-on experience using a Cubin scanner within a warehouse or supply chain environment.
• Strong administrative ability with attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
• Relevant qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Quality Administration (advantageous).
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
• Strong commitment to achieving and maintaining quality standards.
• Proficiency in Excel (Power BI or any Business Intelligence tool exposure would be beneficial)

• Conduct thorough inspections and audits of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrate precision in mathematical proficiency by maintaining an adept grasp of SI units
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyse data and identify areas for process improvement
• Propose and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance product quality and minimize defects
• Utilize statistical tools and data analysis techniques to track and trend quality metrics
• Prepare detailed reports on quality performance, defect rates and trends for management review
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Lead investigations into root causes of defects and non-conformities
• Develop and execute action plans to address root causes and prevent their recurrence
• Share lessons learned with team to enhance defect prevention strategies
• Conduct quality audits to ensure their products and processes meet quality standards
• Address quality issues and work together with your line manager to implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate and organized records of quality related data
• Ensure that documentation is readily accessible for audits and compliance purposes
• Gather and analyze feedback from Warehouse personell related to product quality, defects and footprint related matters
• Take proactive measures to address footprint concerns, assist QA/QC in this process
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Cubiscan devices for obtaining precise scan dimensions, validating and correcting dimension data, and ensuring accurate inventory management.
• Utilize Power BI to interpret business reports, identify gaps in master data, and derive actionable insights for quality improvement.
• Identify and address packaging inefficiencies, Pack size discrepancies during the quality assurance process
• Maintain Oe number and Master Data number accuracy on WMS ( Warehouse Management System.)
