Duties:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated test frameworks and test cases across web and API layers.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and performance testing on complex applications and systems.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, product owners, and DevOps teams to define acceptance criteria and build test strategies from design through deployment.
• Maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines with automated testing integrated at every stage.
• Drive best practices in testing, documentation, and software quality assurance.
• Investigate defects, conduct root cause analysis, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolutions.
• Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and skills development.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in full-stack development, including experience with C#, JavaScript, Angular, React, Node.js.

• Minimum 5–7 years' experience in quality assurance and software testing.
• Strong experience testing both front-end (UI) and back-end (API/database) layers.
• Proven experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or equivalent.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

• Proficient in writing test scripts and automating tests in C#, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and defect tracking systems.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, Postman, and Swagger.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing tools and approaches (e.g. JMeter, Gatling).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Attention to detail, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
