Quality Assurance Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client, a company focusing on innovation in the FMCG industry is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager in the Johannesburg area.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Degree or Diploma.
• 5 years’ experience in a Senior QA or QA Manager position.
• 5 years’ experience in the FMCG industry in a Technical / Quality role.
• Lead a team of Quality Controllers.
• Technical / Quality / food safety background.
• Quality Management Systems experience.
• Food legislative requirements experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve on Quality Management Systems.
• Specifications raw material and Final product.
• Review factory trials and the 4 P’s (Price, Product, Place, Promotion).
• Communicate on performance and technical stats.
• Review and advise on micro results.
• Oversee Training and Development.
• Initiate project ideas on the technical and production fronts.
• Daily cooperation with the Production managers.
• Manage a team of Quality Controllers which include Quality Control monitors, Quality Controllers, raw material technologists and Senior Technologists.
