SUMMARY:
Our client, a company focusing on innovation in the FMCG industry is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager in the Johannesburg area.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Relevant Degree or Diploma.
5 years’ experience in a Senior QA or QA Manager position.
5 years’ experience in the FMCG industry in a Technical / Quality role.
Lead a team of Quality Controllers.
Technical / Quality / food safety background.
Quality Management Systems experience.
Food legislative requirements experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve on Quality Management Systems.
Specifications raw material and Final product.
Review factory trials and the 4 P’s (Price, Product, Place, Promotion).
Communicate on performance and technical stats.
Review and advise on micro results.
Oversee Training and Development.
Initiate project ideas on the technical and production fronts.
Daily cooperation with the Production managers.
Manage a team of Quality Controllers which include Quality Control monitors, Quality Controllers, raw material technologists and Senior Technologists.
