Quality Assurance Manager: Ladieswear (DBN)TONGAAT
SALARY: NEG

Purpose of the job : To increase profitability through effective Management of Quality in Ladieswear

Diploma in Clothing Production, Design or Pattern Making an advantage
Experience
Managerial Skills – At least 5 years’ experience in Quality Management in the Clothing Industry
Pattern making and grading Knowledge and experience
Experience in Garment construction & garment engineering
Ensure orders meet customer requirements – achieve customer “A” rating
Manage quality auditors to reduce repairs and rejects
Oversee laboratory and ensure fabric meets required standard and specification
Monitor the quality standard of laundered garments (Internal and External Laundries)
Monitor quality at all stages of production and solve problems timeously.
Provide technical assistance to merchants and sample department at product development stage in respect of garment engineering and quality standards
Monitor claims on materials and garments by making recommendations on faulty materials and finished goods
Monitor completion of trial runs and style meetings
Build and establish relationships with QA departments
Performance management & Training and development of staff
