JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be responsible for assessing potential risks and non-compliance with prescribed rules, procedures, and standards of quality. You will be mainly responsible for carrying out quality assurance audits as per prescribed audit plans, ensuring that proper methodologies and processes are being followed. You will prepare QA audit working papers to ensure that all information required for the audit has been obtained and that shortcomings are reported.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric
FETC in Short Term Insurance
Formal Certification in Internal Auditing best practices preferred.
Computer literate
Sound knowledge and understanding of short term insurance claims and underwriting operations - essential
Must have sufficient understanding of the life cycle of a short-term insurance policy and related risk management
Experience working with the auditing system
Experience or exposure in forensic auditing
Experience in data analytics and reporting.
Previous work experience in Short Term Insurance Claims & Underwriting essential
Min 2 years relevant work experience doing internal quality assurance audits (including auditing of mandated brokers)
