POSITION INFO:
Department: QHSE

Minimum Requirements:

Essential: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
Preferred: Trade Qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in refrigeration QC, manufacturing, or installation
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 3834-2, NCRs, RCA, CAPA, documentation, and traceability
Health and Safety awareness in manufacturing/assembly environments
Proficient with inspection tools, technical drawings, and QMS systems (e.g., DocuWare)

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-process and final inspections of refrigeration components and assemblies
Inspect welding, brazing, piping, and mechanical assemblies for compliance
Perform pressure, vacuum, and leak testing
Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Maintain inspection records, documentation, and traceability
Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and defect prevention
Collaborate with production, QA, and Health & Safety teams to resolve quality issues
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, internal QMS, and Health & Safety requirements
