This position is limited to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements.

Location: Midrand, South Africa       

Position Overview:

A global leader in the medical devices and diagnostics industry has a fantastic opportunity available for a Quality Assurance Pharmacist.

As the company’s Quality Assurance Pharmacist, one will be ensuring that the company’s products comply with the local and international Quality Assurance standards, safeguarding legal compliance to these and thereby ensuring the quality assurance function in totality.  One will also perform product releases.

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

Minimum Requirements:

• A completed Pharmacy Degree (NQF 7)
• Registered with the SA Pharmacy Council
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience as pharmacist in the pharmaceutical quality assurance environment
• Knowledge of relevant pharmaceutical and medicines legislation
• Knowledge of GMP/GDP
• Knowledge on validation
• Knowledge of SAP will be a plus
• Ability to work cross functionally across teams and with multiple stakeholders
