POSITION INFO:

Short Summary:

The main responsibility of this position is to provide administrative support to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Review and update Food, Safety and Quality Acts, standards and regulations.
• Assist with compiling of food, safety and quality training material.
• Assist with training and the verification of training with food handlers.
• Continuously update food, safety and quality documentation when required.
• Compiling food, safety and quality documentation as requested.
• Assist with compiling of food, safety and quality checklists and gathering information.
• Managing pest control of different sites and supervising Internal Pest Controller.
• Liaising and confirming arrangements with External Pest Control Service Providers.
• Assist with recording, updating and communicating of internal and external corrective actions.
• Assist with following up and completing final audit reports.
• Assist with implementing and verifying of corrective actions as per audit outcomes.
• Updating raw material supplier information, documents and specifications.
• Handling reporting and investigating supplier non-conformances.
• Taking charge as the Q-Pulse System administrator.
• Managing and reporting from the Q-Pulse System.
• Uploading documents or actions and following up on outstanding actions.
• Assist the QA Manager with all aspects of implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Obey all reasonable and lawful orders and instructions which may be given by the QA Manager.
• Obey all reasonable and lawful orders and instructions which may be given by Management.

• Tertiary qualification in Quality Management and/or Food Science
• 2 - 3 years’ experience in the Food Industry/ FMCG environment
• Auditing Diploma is an advantage
• Highly proficient in English and Afrikaans
• Excellent communication skills
• High degree of Computer Literate
