Quality Control Coordinator

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Quality Control Coordinator to join their team in Germiston

POSITION INFO:
Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control standards across all production areas.
• Monitor, record, and report on product and process quality performance.
• Conduct routine QC checks, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external quality requirements.
• Identify non-conformances and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support the QC Manager with data analysis, documentation, and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards in line with HACCP and other quality management systems.
• Utilise Meat Matrix for quality tracking, traceability, and reporting.
• Promote a strong culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the team

• Any Quality-related qualification (Diploma, Certificate, or Degree).
• 1–2 years’ experience in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry, or completion of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) in a similar environment.
• Familiarity with QC systems, food safety standards, and audit processes.
• Experience using Meat Matrix or similar quality management software is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and reporting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
