SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Controller to join their growing team. The successful candidate will ensure that all products meet their strict quality standards and customer expectations, contributing directly to the excellence that they pride themselves on. The company is based in Midrand and this is contractual basis.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications & Experience:

Tech Degree: Environmental Health or Degree or Diploma: Food Science
ISO 22000 or HACCP certification
Certification in Food handling; or food Hygiene and GMP

Experience:

Relevant quality control experience.
Experience in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.

Must have knowledge of:

ISO 22000, HACCP and Food Stuffs Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act No. 54 of 1972 and its relevant
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, presentation Outlook).

Job Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12)
Adhere to operational working hours as determined by the client.
Overtime is part of the employment contract and overtime will be worked on weekdays and weekends as required to fulfil the operational requirements of the site;
Be willing to trade days to accommodate operational requirements with discussion and agreement;
Work nightshift as per the rotation, as the Site works 3 shifts;
Wear personal protective clothing correctly at all times;
Keep areas used by QC personnel clean and neat at all times;
Maintain records (documents) related to QC monitoring and quality inspection;
Only leave your position once all the required functions are completed;
Report any deviations and problems timeously;
Assist with training of the operating personnel.
Comply with any reasonable instruction from your direct Supervisor, Manager and HOD within your scope.
