Quality Controller

Are you passionate about quality, safety, and world-class production standards? We’re looking for a Quality Controller to take ownership of the quality control function and ensure that all products leaving the factory meet strict specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Quality Control function, ensuring raw materials, water quality, and production processes comply with specifications.

2. Monitor in-process and final products and recommend corrective actions when required.

3. Analyse liquor and provide recommendations for the production of adhesives, specials, and other products.

4. Manage hazardous chemicals on site.

5. Oversee laboratory personnel and ensure optimal performance.

6. Ensure adherence to production and safety procedures.

7. Maintain compliance with ISO standards and Quality Management Systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 with Core Maths and Science.
• Degree in Chemistry.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial chemical operation.
• At least 3 years’ supervisory experience.
• Exposure to Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety.
• Strong communication skills (English).
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 proficiency.
• Basic understanding of Windows OS, internet navigation, and effective use of search engines.
