SUMMARY:
A well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to strengthen its quality management and compliance capability within a technically demanding environment.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems in line with ISO 9001:2015
Prepare, review and approve Welding Procedures (WPS, PQR, WPQ) in accordance with applicable standards
Conduct internal audits, supplier audits and support external certification audits
Ensure compliance with engineering, fabrication and welding quality requirements
Review technical documentation, drawings and inspection test plans (ITPs)
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and corrective/preventive actions
Support production, fabrication and project teams with quality-related guidance
Compile quality reports and manage non-conformance processes

Minimum Requirements

BEng Mechanical Engineering degree (essential)
Proven experience in a Quality Engineering role within an engineering, fabrication or manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of welding procedures and welding quality standards
Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001:2015 implementation and maintenance
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Strong analytical, documentation and problem-solving skills
