Freedom Won has an opportunity for a Quality Engineer to ensure the overall quality of the manufactured products. They test processes, monitor quality standards, create documentation, devise quality tests and define the criteria a test result should meet. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the generation of a strategic plan to improve the business processes and increase production output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality standards
• Develop and implement quality control systems
• Develop inspection methods to analyse product quality.
• Improve product quality by making recommendations for change.
• Work together with relevant teams and departments to improve products.
• Ensure products adhere to company and industry quality standards.
• Brainstorm ideas to create solutions for identified problems.
• Formulate a strategic plan to increase productivity in the business.
• Inspect and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met
• Collaborate with managers to develop and implement controls and improvements
• Ensure processes and products comply with safety regulations
• Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues
• Monitor and analyze quality
• Document results and findings after inspections are carried out.
• Implement a working system to ensure conformity and accuracy in the production process.

Skills and Experience:

• Degree in quality, industrial or mechanical / electrical engineering preferred
• Extensive experience in a quality engineering, quality assurance or a similar role
• Using QA software tools and processes
• High proficiency in computer technology and systems operations
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• In-depth understanding of electrical engineering trends and conditions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work efficiently in a team environment
• Basic mathematical arithmetic skills
