JOB SUMMARY:
Quality Engineer
Based in Montague Gardens - Cape Town
R45 000 CTC
Field: Energy solutions and multi-discipline electronics equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

License and own transport, travel required.
+3 years QA, QC experience in delivery of multi-discipline electronics equipment.
University degree in Quality related field or equivalent experience.
Good knowledge and trained experience auditing of ISO standards 9001, 14001 & 45001 according to ISO 19011
Demonstrated knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma, FEMA, 8D, etc.
Ability to establish quality control systems.
Ability to work independently and drive adherence.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

SPC, 8D, 5S, FEMA and other related quality procedures delivery.
Production process compliance audits.
Support and participate in internal and external audits procedures.
Calibration and maintenance procedures delivery.
ESD environment management procedures delivery.
Production startup procedures, QA inspection and compliance audits.
Quarantine materials clearance on a monthly basis following the non-confirming materials procedure.
Drive measurement-based analysis and actions management procedures together with other managers to improve quality in supply.
Working with other departments to harmonize Quality related objectives and IMS procedures.
Uphold, report and work to the goal targets set in Weekly and Monthly Quality related KPI’s.
Active participation in change control management procedures and continuous improvement projects.
Ensure EHS & IMS policies and procedures compliance within the operations.
