Are you an experienced Quality Food Safety & Environmental (QFSE) professional with a passion for compliance and continuous improvement? Our client, a global leader in the FMCG industry, is seeking a QFSE Manager to oversee and enhance quality, food safety, and environmental management across its manufacturing sites to based in Durban.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and management of the Quality Business Plan for the plant, ensuring QFSE goals are met and exceeded.
• Manage compliance with ISO 9000, ISO 14000, FSSC 22000, and HACCP standards and ensure adherence to legal and internal requirements.
• Drive product and package quality through rigorous monitoring and control, ensuring that all ingredients, packaging, and products meet the highest standards.
• Develop and lead continuous improvement programs focused on water, energy usage, waste, and recycling to enhance operational efficiency.
• Foster a culture of quality by training, mentoring, and guiding the plant's Quality, Manufacturing, and Warehouse teams.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders such as local regulators and suppliers to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and maintain strong business relationships.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent).
• ISO 9000, ISO 14000, FSSC 22000, and HACCP certification.
• 5-8 years of experience in a quality role within the food manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, environmental compliance, and food safety principles.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to drive team performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
