SUMMARY:
Our client in the Engineering Industry is looking for a Quality Inspector (Heavy Machinery) to join their team in Jet Park.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications: Millwright Trade (preferred) \/B.Tech Electrical Engineering. Experience in a Quality Assurance and Control environment. Background in quality control\/inspection with essential experience in boiler making and welding, along with a Level 1 SAWI certificate. Ability to read drawings and use measuring devices and instruments. Exposure and potential certifications to IPC standards. Exposure to international QMS standards. Experience with Fletcher mining machinery (advantageous) Responsibilities: Maintain strict adherence to Quality Control Plans throughout the assembly processes. Support the Workshop Manager in quality-related aspects during assemblies and repair processes. Adhere to all ISO quality standards. Ensure measuring equipment is calibrated timeously and in working order. Maintain detailed records of inspections, noting deviations or defects found to ensure traceability and quality control. Ensure compliance with customer requirements regarding Quality Control. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. Excellent technical knowledge in machinery, automotive or relevant mechanical systems. Proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical issues or problems. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
