SUMMARY:
Lead quality systems, external customer quality, audits, and continuous improvement for an automotive foam manufacturing plant, while supporting SHE compliance and driving down quality-related costs.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Own and drive the Quality Strategy across the business unit
Manage and maintain IATF 16949, ISO 9001 & VDA 6.3 compliance
Lead external customer quality, audits, APQP and contract reviews
Drive continuous improvement and reduce external PPM
Lead quality projects from enquiry through handover to production
Manage QMS reviews, audits, and customer satisfaction reporting
Lead and develop the Quality team while supporting SHE objectives

Minimum Requirements:

Matric and National Diploma in Quality Management or Engineering
Minimum 5 years Quality Management experience in manufacturing
Trained Internal/Lead Auditor (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3)
Automotive manufacturing experience (non-negotiable)
