Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team within the mineral processing industry. The successful candidate will support the commercial, costing of construction, and plant-upgrade projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual eager to grow their technical and contractual knowledge in a specialised industrial environment

Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management & Estimating

• Assist with preparing cost estimates and bill of quantities (BOQs) for mineral processing projects.
• Gather, analyse, and verify cost data from suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Support cost forecasting and cash-flow planning.

• Assist with preparing tender documents, RFQs, and contract documentation.
• Evaluate supplier and contractor quotations for accuracy and compliance.

• Technical Qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with cost-management or QS software is advantageous.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and basic engineering principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience or exposure to mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial projects.
• Knowledge of NEC, FIDIC, or similar contract frameworks.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to site when required.
