Quantity Surveyor

A consulting engineering firm is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) with a minimum of 10 years experience for their office in Durban. 

Job description: 

• Managing and developing cost, manage cost relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial to final figures. 
• Must have knowledge and understanding of contracts - especially NEC 3, GCC and JBCC. 
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, develop scope of work, cash flow, budgeting / costing, specification and tender documents.

The candidate will be based in the Durban office but will execute projects anywhere in the country.
