JOB SUMMARY:
Quantity Surveyor required from February / March 2023 for leading Building Contractor in Cape Town. Interviews will start December for this role that we are actively recruiting for.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications required:

B.Tech or B.Sc Quantity Surveying
CCS skills are essential

Experience required:
3 to 5 years experience with large building contractors or Property Developers is essential

Summary of the role:
We are searching for a presentable QS who will be reporting to the Commercial Manager and Commercial Director. This role will be site based on various building projects throughout the Cape Peninsula area.

Duties:

Setting up BOQ
Sending out Tenders to subcontractors
Appointing Subcontractors
Managing progress on site
Attended site meeting
Maintain an open communication with the professional team
Ensure Subcontractors are Compliant with relevant boards (BIBC)
Manage sites allowables
Giving monthly cost report
Set up Contracts for Temporary workers
Compile hand over files for projects that are completed
Price Variations
Set up claims for PQS
