POSITION INFO:
An established construction company delivering major commercial building projects in Madagascar is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional who can manage project costs, contractual matters, procurement, and financial reporting while collaborating closely with site teams and project management. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation. Manage project costs from inception through to final account. Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate appointments. Prepare monthly valuations, cost reports and cash flow forecasts. Assess and certify subcontractor payment claims. Identify and manage variations, claims and contractual risks. Monitor project expenditure against budget. Liaise remotely with project managers, site teams and consultants. Ensure commercial objectives are achieved throughout the project lifecycle. Minimum Requirements Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying. 5+ years' experience on commercial building projects. Strong understanding of FIDIC and\/or JBCC contracts. Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently. Excellent communication and report-writing skills. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software. Stable internet connection and suitable home office environment. Ability to work independently while supporting international project teams.
