Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer (EPCM) – Jhb

POSITION INFO:

Our client specializes in projects for the mining industry.

Design, develop, and implement electrical and instrumentation system for industrial mining plants projects.
Develop and review single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and P&ID’s for control and automation systems.
Specify and select electrical equipment, instrumentation, and control systems ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Develop PLC, SCADA, and DCS system requirements and work with automation engineers for integration.
Lead E&I engineering activities from concept to commissioning, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget.

Minimum of 5 years experience within the field of E&I and control systems engineering and construction within a project based environment.
Proven track record in project management and team leadership within an engineering environment.
E&I (HV, MV & LV) and control systems design, deliverables, construction and application in large industrial plants.
Hands on experience with PLC, SCADA, and DCS programming is an advantage.
Ability to interpret basic E, C & I drawings.
Proficient in the use of the E-plan for E, C & I design is advantageous.
Level 2 system understanding is advantageous.
Commissioning experience is advantageous.

R800K – R1,2m CTC (negotiable)
