RB 18337 - Electrical Control Engineer – East Rand

This position plays a critical role in supporting and leading technical initiatives across process automation, control systems, and mechanical integration, with a strong focus on rotating equipment.

• Design, implement, and maintain Process Automation Systems (PAS), including both hardware and software.
• Develop and review control system architecture, high-level designs, detailed cabinet layouts, and instrumentation schematics.
• Provide technical support for rotating machinery and associated control systems.
• Collaborate across disciplines to optimise system performance, reliability, and safety.
• Lead or support system commissioning, testing, and validation.
• Interpret and generate technical documentation, including P&IDs, control logic, and wiring diagrams.
• Apply critical thinking to troubleshoot and resolve complex system faults.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety guidelines, and internal engineering quality procedures.
