Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer.
Job Description
Duties:
- Maintain machinery to achieve acceptable uptime for production.
- Maintain occupational Health & Safety standards and good housekeeping procedures.
- Responsible for upkeep of all electrical distribution boards, in accordance with OSH act and regulations.
Skills
- 5 Years'' post apprenticeship trade experience within a FMCG environment, specifically Personal Care products
- Good understanding of SANPRO (Sanitary Products) and Baby Care manufacturing processes and production machinery and its components.
- Competency in mathematical and communication skills at Grade 8 Level.
- Good understanding of SANS 10142 requirements with regards to wiring of premises.
- Good understanding of mechanical components maintenance, able to replace bearings, shafts, rollers and RDC’s on shift.
- Willing to work shifts.
