Re - Insurance Actuary

Qualifications:

• Fellow of Actuarial Society (FASSA), Associate of the Actuarial Society (AMASSA), and/or Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) designation
• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree and/or Bachelor of Business Science (BSc) degree specialising in Actuarial Science

Job description & Skills:

• Establishing and implementing business systems, processes, and procedures for CRM-driven interactions amongst clients, sales, and underwriting teams
• Providing insights to facilitate an ongoing awareness, development and implementation of ‘best practices’ for new and existing clients
• Proving actuarial, big data, and/or motor consultancy advice that improves business systems, processes, and procedures for management and stakeholders
• Overseeing the budgeting of expectant revenues and financial forecasting of the estimated amount of revenue and income in the foreseeable future
• Conducting actuarial experience investigations and analyses to support decision making that promotes the ultimate business mandate and general objectives
• Engaging with various business departments, business partners, and/or stakeholders to maximise business value creation to support best-in-class customer service
