A reputable Johannesburg North based company operating in the Insurance sector is looking for a Re-Insurance Actuary to join their team.

If you are a qualified Actuary with previous working experience within Non-Life Insurance, please apply!

Qualifications:

Fellow of Actuarial Society (FASSA), Associate of the Actuarial Society (AMASSA), and/or Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) designation
Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree and/or Bachelor of Business Science (BSc) degree specialising in Actuarial Science

Previous working experience involving Project Management and/or leading project teams

Job description & Skills:

Establishing and implementing business systems, processes, and procedures for CRM-driven interactions amongst clients, sales, and underwriting teams
Providing insights to facilitate an ongoing awareness, development and implementation of ‘best practices’ for new and existing clients
Proving actuarial, big data, and/or motor consultancy advice that improves business systems, processes, and procedures for management and stakeholders
Overseeing the budgeting of expectant revenues and financial forecasting of the estimated amount of revenue and income in the foreseeable future
Conducting actuarial experience investigations and analyses to support decision making that promotes the ultimate business mandate and general objectives
Engaging with various business departments, business partners, and/or stakeholders to maximise business value creation to support best-in-class customer service
