A well known supplier has an opening for a Receiving supervisor, The purpose of a receiving supervisor is to ensure efficient and effective coordination of all incoming shipments and merchandise at our company. POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:
Manage all receiving operations, including unloading and sorting of deliveries.
Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processed.
Monitor the accuracy of all receiving records, including inventory and stock levels.
Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Identify and resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies.
Orient and Train: Provide appropriate orientation for the colleagues when joining the department and ensure that colleagues receive ongoing information, technology, and reference materials necessary to perform their jobs.
Discipline: Address performance problems through corrective action.
Coordination: Work with other departments to resolve any issues related to receiving, such as inventory discrepancies or damaged products.

Requirements:
Grade 12.
Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
One (1) year of experience in warehouse, logistics, or receiving supervision within the FMCG sector.
Previously worked on Syspro.
Proven experience in a supervisory role in the FMCG industry, particularly in a warehouse or receiving operations.
