Reconciliation Specialist

SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for a Reconciliation Specialist.

POSITION INFO:
Key responsibilities:

• Reconciliation of data over the whole internal company.
• Disbursement value chain, from Applications received to payment to students.
• Analyse the approved payment instructions to determine whether only valid claims are being paid.
• Analyse data to identify potential gaps or blockages in the system.
• Reconciliation of external data directly with institutions between remittance and institution payments.
• Perform financial reconciliations specifically related to company reporting, i.e institution and accommodation payments.

• NQF level 7 in Commerce
• Extensive experience (5+ years) in financial systems in the education or finance sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Preferable proficiency in SQL.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
