Great opportunity to join an Asset Manager in Cape Town as a Reconciliation Specialist.
The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years' Reconciliations experience, within an investment administration team. They must be able to identify patterns and trends and have a good understanding of investment accounting transactions. Have a great attention to detail; strong organisational skills: thinks in a structured way; be a people person with good communication skills.
Some key areas of responsibility include:
- Execution, matching, exception management and review of cash and holding reconciliations
- Identification of overdrafts, establishing root causes and escalating to the relevant parties
- Accurate updating of the Investment Administration system
- Investigation and follow-up of all reconciliation breaks
- Perform all appropriate controls to mitigate risk
