Great opportunity to join an Asset Manager in Cape Town as a Reconciliation Specialist.

The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years' Reconciliations experience, within an investment administration team. They must be able to identify patterns and trends and have a good understanding of investment accounting transactions. Have a great attention to detail; strong organisational skills: thinks in a structured way; be a people person with good communication skills.

Some key areas of responsibility include:

Execution, matching, exception management and review of cash and holding reconciliations
Identification of overdrafts, establishing root causes and escalating to the relevant parties
Accurate updating of the Investment Administration system
Investigation and follow-up of all reconciliation breaks
Perform all appropriate controls to mitigate risk
