SUMMARY:
Run full cycle, large scale industrial refrigeration design and install projects for one of the industry leaders in industrial refrigeration solutions.

POSITION INFO:

Design and costing of refrigeration systems

Full cycle project management including managing of contracts and service-related jobs

Detailed planning and procurement of materials and resources

Monitor quality of work done by subcontractors

Project close out administration and invoicing on relevant deadlines

Run projects successfully within budget and on time

Travel nationally and internationally on short notice

Willing to work overtime and over the weekend if required

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in engineering and project management environment

Strong mechanical ability and understanding of refrigeration systems

Good application experience of Thermo Dynamic design and calculations

Able to work with various people and cultures

Communicate effectively with clients from different backgrounds

Experience in managing sub-contractors and suppliers

Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams

Do design calculations and equipment selection

Self-driven and passionate about project management

Computer literate (SAP, MS Project, Excel etc.)

Qualification:

NDip/BTech/BEng in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
