Midvaal Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a global leader in construction and heavy machinery manufacturing with operations across multiple international markets. The organisation specialises in equipment used in infrastructure development, mining, construction, and industrial projects, supporting major engineering and development initiatives worldwide.

As the company continues to expand its African market presence, they are seeking an experienced Regional Brand Manager to drive brand positioning, marketing strategy, and stakeholder engagement within the South African region.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior management in developing and implementing the annual brand strategy for South Africa, aligned with product launches and regional sales targets.
Plan and execute brand promotion campaigns, including marketing initiatives and product launch activities.
Collaborate with local distributors and dealers to adapt marketing materials (brochures, videos, campaigns) for the South African market.
Build relationships with industry associations and relevant government bodies to strengthen brand credibility and presence.
Develop and maintain a regional brand evaluation system, ensuring brand promotion plans are effectively implemented.
Establish brand evaluation models for distributors and support subsidiaries in assessing brand alignment.
Oversee the development and distribution of brand communication materials, including advertising collateral and promotional content.
Lead brand marketing activities at trade shows, exhibitions, and product launches, ensuring compliance with global brand guidelines.
Deliver brand training programs and develop training materials for regional staff.
Coordinate with international headquarters regarding branding, design, and promotional requirements.
Manage the daily operations and development of the regional brand team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Proven experience in brand management, marketing, or communications, preferably within industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or construction sectors
Experience working with dealers, distributors, or international brands
Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills
Ability to manage marketing campaigns, trade shows, and product launches
Leadership capability with experience managing teams or projects
