Regional Category Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for an experienced Regional Category Manager to take ownership of an aftermarket product portfolio, driving profitable growth, portfolio development, pricing and market positioning across the region.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field. 3-7 years' experience in product management, category management or a related commercial role. Experience within the automotive aftermarket will be highly advantageous. Strong knowledge of product portfolio management, pricing and product development. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Experience with Excel, MS Office and SAP; advanced Excel advantageous. Experience with pricing, market analysis and competitor benchmarking. Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills. Customer-oriented with a strong commercial and results-driven approach. Key Responsibilities: Take responsibility for the performance and strategy of the assigned product portfolio, including sales, margin, volume and market positioning. Develop and implement portfolio strategies aligned with business and customer requirements. Manage pricing strategies and monitor market and competitor activity. Identify opportunities for portfolio and range extensions . Analyse market trends, customer requirements and competitor offerings. Support regional sales teams with product positioning and commercial strategies. Coordinate product development and ensure new products meet market requirements. Drive portfolio profitability and sustainable growth. Work closely with regional pricing, sales and other internal stakeholders. Conduct regular product and technical benchmarking against competitor offerings. Support product positioning and go-to-market activities.
