Regional Director (Electrical Building Services)

SUMMARY:
A diverse consulting firm with projects in Africa is looking for a candidate with Electrical Building services experience. POSITION INFO:

Manage all staff effectively

Manage Electrical Division

Ensure Projects meet deadlines

Mentor team of Engineers

Client liaison – and gain clients respect and trust

Engage with current and prospective clients and focus on client development

Calculations of professional fees

Manage the internal office project finances as well as do forecasting  

Be able to do Financial control, construction monitoring and electrical project management throughout all stages

Work with multi-disciplinary team of Engineers on all Electrical projects 

Leading the design process

Prepare accurate and concise designs, design calculations, budgets etc.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 10 years consulting experience in Property and Buildings Sector on Commercial and Industrial projects

Must have been appointed as Principal Associate or Director Level before

Must have experience with Autodesk BIM and CAD software

Thorough knowledge of SANS10142-1&2, SANS10139, SANS10400 and SANS204

Good business development skills with new and existing clients

Building contracts experience (Fidic, NEC, JBCC etc.)

Project Management, Healthcare and Data Experience - Advantage

Qualification:

BSc or B.Eng. Electrical Engineering Degree 

Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng)

Willing to Travel in RSA and Africa

Registered as Autodesk Certified Professional (MEP Electrical) – Advantage

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
