JOB SUMMARY:
Multi-national retailer seeks FMCG Area Operations Manager to be a servant leader of leaders in a business unit whilst promoting sales, reducing stock losses, managing stock, leading and growing a team to maintain a low-cost culture in order to meet business goals.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Minimum Hons Degree Business Management, HR Management or Retail
Clean Drivers License for frequent travel in Gauteng
Computer Literate. (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite - will be an advantage).
Valid Code 8 manual driver’s license with a willingness to travel extensively. Able to work away from home.
The successful candidate will join an intensive 1-2 year Management Development Programme where he/she will be required to manage various sales projects whilst leading a team

Duties:

Ability to manage a large portfolio and multiple projects to increase revenue by ensuring smooth operations
People management
Cost and budget management
Analysis of information, execution of projects from inception to completion
Proactive, ability to make decisions

Attributes:

A passion for retail is essential to deliver a world-class customer experience with at least 2 years of leadership experience
Confident with very strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills with the ability to give recognition, support, direction and guidance to a team of achievers
Strong Managerial capabilities - think like an owner of the business with the ability to plan, lead, organise and control.
