SUMMARY:
Are you a strategic finance professional with strong operational oversight and a passion for governance? Our client in the distribution industry is seeking a Regional Finance Manager to take full ownership of financial, operational, and compliance functions within the region.

This role is a true business partnership opportunity — working closely with the Regional GM to drive profitability, enforce controls, and ensure the region remains audit-ready at all times.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Lead month-end reporting, consolidations, variance analysis, and management packs.
Own the region’s P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Partner with operations to monitor cost efficiency (labour productivity, machine uptime, cost/kg).
Enforce procurement, payroll, and inventory controls, ensuring compliance with policies.
Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and oversee acquisitions, transfers, and disposals.
Drive ESG compliance, SHEQ adherence, and risk mitigation initiatives.
Track and review sales performance, customer profitability, and commercial approvals.
Manage working capital and cash flow in line with group policies.
Lead, coach, and train the regional finance team on governance and accountability.
Champion a culture of audit readiness, control discipline, and compliance across all functions.

What You’ll Need:

Grade 12 with a Finance/Accounting Degree or Diploma (Honours advantageous).
Minimum 2–3 years’ management experience in a similar finance leadership role.
Strong knowledge of financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworks.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and company-related finance systems.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized, detail-focused, and confident working under pressure.
