SUMMARY:
DBN000176 – Financial Controller – Durban

Purpose of the job:
To run the day-to-day activities of the finance department

Required Qualifications – Essential

Chartered Accountant (SAICA)
5 + years Relevant experience
Experience in Xero Accounting

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies and responsibilities

Accounts payable function
On a fortnightly basis, creditors will include all contractors, mileage claims and expense claims.
Ensure that the monthly operational fee invoices are raised correctly and accurately.
Assist the finance manager with the annual audit
Reconciliation of the VAT reports and the VAT control account before a VAT return is submitted monthly
Ensure the balance sheet is accurate for reporting purposes.
